Responsibilities:
The Superintendent of Highways is elected in the Town of Chemung. He is solely responsible for staffing and purchases for the department. The highway department is charged with ordinary routine maintenance of the Town roadways, ditches and signage. All local highway improvement projects are coordinated by this department, as well.
Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday: 7:00am to 3:30pm
